For land with no address

Walk it once.
Find it forever.

Stand at each corner of your plot and tap. PlotStake records the exact shape and area, keeps your photos and papers with it, and leads you back to it years later, even where there's no road name and no signal.

How it works

One walk.
A record for years.

  1. 1 Walk the corners

Stand at each corner and tap. The app warns you if GPS is weak or the edges cross, and closes the shape for you.

  2. 2 Keep the record

The area in square metres and acres or hectares, photos, the seller, the price. Saved on your phone and backed up when there's signal.

  3. 3 Find it again

Maps gets you to the area. PlotStake does the last hundred metres: an arrow to the nearest corner, and it tells you when you're standing on your land.

The last hundred metres

The plot has no address.
You still find it.

Informal plots are found by memory: the mango tree, the second track after the kiosk. Memories fade, and beacons get moved. PlotStake points you to your nearest corner using GPS alone, so it works with no data at all. When the compass isn't sure, the arrow dims and the distance leads, rather than sending you confidently the wrong way.

What's in it

Made for the way land
is actually bought.

Works with no signal
Recording, viewing and finding your way back all work offline. Satellite maps for your plots save on Wi-Fi; where there's no imagery you get survey paper with a scale bar, never a blank screen.
Honest about accuracy
Every corner keeps its GPS accuracy (±3 m, ±8 m) for good. Years later, that's what tells you how far to trust the line.
Someone else can walk it for you
Abroad? Send a relative or caretaker an invite. As they walk the corners, the boundary appears on your phone, live. The record is yours; they keep no copy.
Drawn or walked, always labelled
Can't get there yet? Sketch it on the satellite map. It's marked “Drawn on map, not walked” everywhere, so a sketch never passes for the real thing.
Photos without your location
Beacons, the gate, the neighbour's wall. Photos are resized and stripped of location data before they're saved.
Share it the way people share
Send one image with the map, area, corners and photos to WhatsApp, email or AirDrop. No app needed to open it.
Your data leaves when you want it to
Coordinates, a Plus Code, or a KML, GPX or GeoJSON file for Google Earth, a surveyor or a lawyer.
Backed up, and it says so
Every record shows “Backed up” or “On this phone only”. You always know whether losing your phone would lose your land.

Any country, any currency, any unit. Square metres first, with acres or hectares the way your region uses them.

Straight talk

A record, not a title deed.

PlotStake is your own careful record of where your land is and what you know about it. It isn't a legal title, a survey or a government registration, in any country. And phone GPS is good to a few metres, not centimetres. Where formal registration exists, do that too. Your PlotStake record is what you'll bring to it.
