Delete your account

Draft. This text describes how the app works today, but the publisher's legal name and contact address are still to be added before launch.

The short version

  • In the app, go to You → Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.
  • This permanently deletes your records, photos, saved maps and sign-in account.
  • It can't be undone. Export any boundary you may need first.

In the app

  1. Open PlotStake and sign in.
  2. Go to You → Delete account.
  3. Read what will be deleted, type DELETE, and tap Delete my account.

You need an internet connection. Deletion happens on our servers first and on your phone only once the server confirms, so a failed attempt never leaves you with neither copy. Just try again.

What gets deleted

  • Every place you’ve recorded, with its boundary, notes, seller and price
  • Every photo you attached, from our storage and from that phone
  • Satellite maps saved for offline use
  • Invites you sent to have a plot walked
  • Your sign-in account

If you walked a plot for someone else, that record stays in their account. It’s theirs.

Before you delete

Deletion can’t be undone. To keep a copy of a boundary, open the place and choose Export file (KML, GPX or GeoJSON) or Share coordinates.

If you can’t open the app

Email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account (if you sign in with Apple or Google, say which, and use that account’s email), with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete everything within 30 days, and reply when it’s done.
